Work From Home Series Six Packs
While the pitfalls of working from the home office are well documented, the benefits are also plenty. Conference calls in pyjamas and the constant company of a loyal dog being just a couple. But we know you're dealing with other things at the moment, so we've put together some care packages, which we're calling our Working From Home Series. They're six packs, each a mix of our favourite quaffers, which we can send out to you via our courier's contactless delivery. Of course you can still have a rummage through our online stock and pick your own, but these 6-packs will give you some delicious and quick ordering options. I hope you enjoy them.
This is where it starts. A six mix for white lovers - wines from Australia, France and Italy.
De Iuliis Semillon 2018 - The De Iuliis Semillon 2018 is fresh, lemony and zesty, but has quite a juicy mid-palate with beeswax and nutty notes. A great drink now wine, but I’m still going to keep a couple.
Bollini Pinot Grigio 2018 - “Straw yellow in colour, clear-cut and delicate on the nose, with scents of acacia flowers, minerals and pear. The fresh natural acidity supports the wine” Winemaker’s notes.
Rieslingfreak No.4 Eden Valley Riesling 2019 - "Fresh, bright, aromatic. White flowers, gooseberries. Talc and slate. Great lemon, limes, with a lingering acid back bone. The vibrancy of the palate has you salivating for more. A wine which will go the distance now and in time." Winemaker's notes. 95 points from James Halliday.
Medhurst Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2017 - "Bright pale straw with green hues, extremely vibrant and brilliant in the glass. The nose shows hints of grapefruit and stone fruit, both rich and flavoursome yet subtle. No real oak influence, but plenty of mealy, flinty notes. The palate is poised and powerful, showing off a benchmark Yarra Valley vintage and our site. Again oak nowhere to be seen it simply helps usher the beautiful pure fruit to the back of an effortless long and fine palate." Winemaker's notes.
Langlois-Chateau Saumur Blanc 2018 - The wine is a clear, light greeny-gold. On the nose and palate you'll find fresh melon, green apples, citrus and tropical fruit. A subtle hay/grassy character makes it just a touch like a Hunter Semillon. Medium-to-light-bodied with crisp tart green apples on the finish and a hint of Euro savouriness and minerality.
Domaine Pichot Sec Vouvray 2017 - Exceptional intensity - perfume, finesse and lip-smacking freshness. Old vine depth with texture and richness. 3 grams residual sugar (ie. dry) with refreshing balanced acidity. Stunning. $135

Everything But The Kitchen Sink Mix
We all end up in here eventually - this is a great drink now mix of 2 whites, 2 rosés and 2 reds.
Bollini Pinot Grigio 2018 - “Straw yellow in colour, clear-cut and delicate on the nose, with scents of acacia flowers, minerals and pear. The fresh natural acidity supports the wine” Winemaker’s notes.
Domaine Pichot Sec Vouvray 2017 - Exceptional intensity - perfume, finesse and lip-smacking freshness. Old vine depth with texture and richness. 3 grams residual sugar (ie. dry) with refreshing balanced acidity. Stunning.
Chateau Riotor Rosé 2017 - “Everyone I serve this wine to devours it. It is a pale, savoury, grenache-based Provençal rosé with nuances of strawberries and cream. The palate is weighty and textured, and there is loads of flavour. It has presence, weight and, most importantly, balance. One of the standouts in the French rosé category.” 93 points, Toni Patterson MW, The Real Review, July 2018.
Medhurst Rosé 2019 - "Very pale copper with a bright vibrant pink hue. Deliciously elusive fresh fruits including strawberry and raspberry are supported by hints of fennel and white blossom of jasmine. The palate is savoury and refined with a supple creamy texture. The finish to the wine is superb, fresh fruits and a long chalky delicate phenolic edge that is trademark of this single vineyard wine." Winemaker's notes. 95 points and a Special Value Rating, James Halliday.
Rive Droite Rive Gauche Cote du Rhone Rouge 2017 - The colour is plummy and dark. Lifted aromatics of dark cherries, blackberries and violets roll onto the palate revealing sour cherry, marzipan, pepper and spices. Abundant upfront flavour but not like Aussie GSM. Medium-bodied with good acid to balance its fruit, very fine tannins and a snappy dry finish, it gains weight as it opens up. Fresh, simple and delicious.
Head Wines Head Red Montepulciano 2018 - “The colour is deep, bright purple; the aroma is of pepper, spice and dark cherry with undergrowth notes. Medium-bodied and softly-textured: a modern drink-young red.” 91 points ★★★★ Huon Hooke, The Real Review (good review from Huon). Included in James Halliday's Top 100 Wines for 2019. 95 points and a Special Value Award.

Lovely nose, highly perfumed wine with red cherry, five spice savoury and floral notes dominating the aromas. The palate has a core of red fruit flavours around a backbone of natural acid. The mouthfeel is lithe and energetic with slinky fine tannins and a clean, fruit-driven finish," Winemaker's notes.
